Christmas sugar cookies

These are the best sugar cookies! They are a soft buttery, perfectly sweet cookie that melts in your mouth. They are an old standby in my house. We love decorating cookies and make these for every holiday year round. Grab your favorite cookie cutters and whip up some of these for the holidays! The dough keeps for several days in the refrigerator. We usually make the dough one day and the cookies on a different day- it spreads the work a little and we can take our time decorating! Just make sure the dough come to room temp before you start rolling.
