- rosé or white wine of your choosing (we recommend Cloudveil’s Rosé or Skin’s Sauvignon Blanc)
- sliced peppers of your choosing (ranging from least to most spicy) most grocery stores carry Poblano, Jalapeno, Fresno, and Habanero peppers.
- To make spicy wine cocktail at home, your first step is to simply pour a glass of your favorite rosé or white wine.
- Next, add fresh pepper slices (options depending on level of preferred spiciness listed above).
- Add ice and enjoy. As it sits, the peppers will infuse the wine with a subtle spicy flavor.
Notes
- For those who prefer a mildly spicy drink, we recommend removing some of the seeds before putting the peppers in your wine (most of a pepper’s spicy flavor comes from its seeds)
- For those who know they want a stronger spice from the start, we suggest muddling the jalapeño slices in the bottom of the wine glass first. Just make sure to add a splash of wine before muddling to get the most flavor out of the peppers.
- You can also easily make spicy rosé into a spritzer by topping your drink off off with sparkling water or club soda.
