sausage pinwheels

breakfast

We wanted to share this recipe for sausage pinwheels because when we make them, they are always fan a favorite! This recipe is a unique one for us because we use store crescent roll dough. We know there are many variations of this recipe but our variation really needs to be in everyone’s recipe rotation! It is the easiest!

We always have a log (or two or three) of these on hand in the freezer. In fact, we often devote an entire day to making the logs and filling our freezer with them. (We even have a pinwheel shelf in our freezer!) Pinwheels are one of our family’s all-time best loved breakfast treats. You will find them on our table every Thanksgiving morning, Christmas morning, Easter morning, and any other morning when we want something special!
